Dragon Dads is a community of fathers (and father figures) united by one simple but powerful mission: to love, support, and advocate for our LGBTQ+ kids. Whether we’re marching in Pride parades, giving out hugs, or just showing up when it matters most, we’re here to make sure no child ever doubts their worth or their place in the world
We come from all walks of life, but what we share is unshakable love and a commitment to building a better, more accepting future—for our families, and for everyone. Dragon Dads is more than a group. It’s a movement rooted in courage, compassion, and community
Because when dads show up with open hearts, it changes everything
You matter.
You are seen.
You are enough.
This time of year can be incredibly difficult, especially for those who no longer have family support because of who they are, who they love, or the people they stand with. If you are feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or hurting—please know that you are not alone. Dragon Dads sees you. We value you. We are grateful you’re here.
If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available 24/7:
U.S. Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Dial 988 or text 741741
You can also reach out to national suicide-prevention and mental-health resources:
If you’re outside the U.S., you’re not alone. You can find free, confidential crisis support where you live at Find A Helpline →
You deserve support. You deserve love. And your story is not over.
Dragon Dads appreciates you—today and every day.
From Pride festivals to local meetups, Dragon Dads shows up—and we show up proud. Our events are all about connection, visibility, and support. Whether it’s a pancake breakfast, a parade, or a quiet gathering over coffee, every event is a chance to build community and let our LGBTQ+ kids know they’re never alone
Some events are loud and joyful, others are small and heartfelt—but all of them reflect our mission: to create safe, welcoming spaces where love leads the way
We hope you’ll join us. There’s always a seat at our table
