Application data is stored in a secure, organization-managed system with access limited to authorized Dragon Dads board members involved in the membership review process.

Submission of this application does not guarantee membership. Acceptance is based on the accuracy, honesty, and completeness of the information provided and alignment with the mission and safety standards of the Dragon Dads community.

Application information is retained only as long as necessary to complete the membership review process. After review, limited information provided by the applicant (such as name, general location, and contact details) may be retained for approved members to support community placement and communication. Other application information is not retained after the review process.

Community Agreements

Dragon Dads and Community is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and families. The following agreements help ensure that members understand our community expectations and safety standards.

I understand that Dragon Dads and Community is a volunteer-driven organization. Our presence at festivals, community events, outreach programs, and online support spaces depends on members contributing time and effort. Members are encouraged to contribute approximately four (4) hours of volunteer time per year when possible, such as helping at festivals, assisting with outreach, supporting online spaces, or contributing skills that help strengthen the Dragon Dads community.

I understand that information provided in this application may be reviewed by the Dragon Dads membership committee as part of the membership vetting process. Identity verification and limited background screening will be conducted using publicly available information to help ensure the safety and integrity of the Dragon Dads community. Individuals representing Dragon Dads and Community at public events, festivals, or outreach activities must be vetted prior to participating in an official capacity. Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in denial or revocation of membership.

I agree to participate respectfully in Dragon Dads and Community spaces and support its mission of uplifting and protecting LGBTQ+ individuals and families. I understand that membership may be denied or revoked if behavior threatens the safety, respect, or integrity of the community.
